Icom is known for leading the way in Marine VHF technology, so there was no surprise when they introduced the first floating handheld VHF Marine radio, the IC-M34. That is right, the Icom M34 floats! The M34 is also rugged and waterproof to IPX7 standards, which means it is submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes. With 3 power settings, the M34 will let you use a full 5 watts of power, or you can select 3 or 1-watt output for close in communications
